MCGEE AT TWENTY-FIFTH
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
January 7, 1963
Dear President and Mrs. Truman:
Your luncheon was a wonderful success!
Everything was done in such good taste. Be-
cause of your warm and gracious manner, the
feeling in the library and at the table seemed
to me couldn't have been better.
President Aleman and his guests remarked to
me several times in the afternoon and evening
how much they had enjoyed it and how pleased
they were to have the opportunity to meet Mrs.
Truman.
For this and many other things, I will be for -
ever grateful.
