Mr. Harry S. Truman
Indepencence,,Missouri
Dear Mr. Truman:
The Cape Girardeau County Women's Demoncratic Organization
of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, has asked me to give the program
at their October meeting.
For this program I plan to give a talk on "Favorite Dishes
of Famous Demoncrats". I would like the recipe of your favorite
food, so I could duplicate it exactly. This might be a meat,
vegetable, salad, casserole or dessert dish. It would also be
interesting to know any particular reason why you like this dish.
As a graduate Home Economist I know the importance of proper
diet and the vital role food plays in our national welfare.
I
would like very much to have a personal comment from you relative
to this subject.
the
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Mr alpred L. Schedus
