ITEM 1 - US CIVIL AVIATION POLICY TOWARD THE USSR AND ITS SATELLITES
(NSC 15)
For consideration of the subject report by the Depart-
ment of State circulated June 15, 1948. The Secretary
of Commerce, the Economic Cooperation Administrator and
the Chairman of the Civil Aeronautics Board have been
invited to participate for this item. Comments on this
report by the NSC Staff, including representatives of
Commerce, ECA and CAB, have also been circulated.
ITEM 2 - THE POSITION OF THE UNITED STATES WITH RESPECT TO SUPPORT FOR
WESTERN UNION AND OTHER RELATED FREE COUNTRIES
(NSC 9/3)
For consideration of the subject report, which is a re-
vision of NSC 9/2 prepared by the Department of State
in the light of Congressional action and of the comments
by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
ITEM 3 - THE POSITION OF THE UNITED STATES WITH RESPECT TO PROVIDING
MILITARY ASSISTANCE TO NATIONS OF THE NON-SOVIET WORLD
(NSC 14)
For consideration of the subject report by the NSC
Staff, dated June 14, 1948.
*NOTE: The President will join the permanent members of the Council
briefly during the course of this meeting for the purpose of
having an official photograph taken of the Council.
