Sixteenth CFM meeting, December 12, Bidault presiding, discussed a proposal that each occupying power provide the Council with information on the type and amount of reparation removals from its zone up to the present. Marshall suggested that this information be furnished to the Council by next Monday Molotov Bought to amend the proposal BO as to make the furnishing of information con- ditional on reaching a general agreement on reparations. He renewed his accusations that the western powers had Saken profits out of their zones. Bevin reacted strongly to these charges and again categorically denied them. Both he and Marshall offered to provide the information on reparation removals from their zones at once and pressed Molotov to reveal what the USSR has taken as reparations from the Soviet zone. Molotov said he would answer when he discussed reparations Molotov reintroduced a Sovies proposal that the Ruhr industrial region should be placed under the joint control of the four powers, but the proposal was not accepted. Molotov then asked the Council to nullify, as contravening the economic unity of dermany, the agreement unifying economically the rivigl UK zones. Marshall categorically denied Molotov's charge that there exists a plan to unite the French, US, and UK zones.
