1 Patrol Plane Fleet Air Service Augmenting Unit
The total Navy and Marine Corps recall of 87,172, when added to the
current strength of 449,695 (30 June, Prelim.), places the proposed
force well within the authorized ceiling of 666,882.
5. The Navy directive did not furnish complete information on
a skill basis and we are unable to offer comments on these require-
ments at this time. The Navy Department has been requested to furnish
these additional details at which time comments will be sent to you.
6. In accordance with your request, the National Security Resources
Board has been furnished with information on these recalls.
