to the disposition of the former Italian Colonies
in Africa.
b. Deferred further action on this subject pending
the results of the negotiations.
3. U.S. MILITARY COURSES OF ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THE SITUATION
IN BERLIN
(NSC 24)
Noted the views of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on this
subject, contained in NSC 24.

REQUIRED BY THE WORLD SITUATION

a. Agreed that the Department of State will prepare for
Council consideration the following studies:
(1) A current estimate of the existing or foreseeable
