Ben-Ourion added nothing new or substance to nis previous statements of Taraeli polley to PCC but made Some interesting remarks re details which arer being reported separabely. Pollowing meeting I had discussion with Comay and Lipchitz who had originally planned to be present for Ben-Gurion meeting but had been delayed in reaching Comay indicated that Israeli Poreign Office, based on reports from Sharrett at Lake Success (which Ben-Ourion had apparently not seen when Y talked with was considerably concerned because of peference of question of Iaraeli admission to UN by GA to Committed One Comay stated that Israeli Delegation Lake Success would have bettor idea in approximately one week whether reference to committee was merely de - laying device by Arabs, British, and others or whether debate would ensue during which it would be Mecessary for Tarael substantively to state its position post such outstanding questions as refugees and Jerusalem. If latter Comay seriously doubted that Israe) would simultaneously be able to discuss such questions with Arabs at Lausanne Gomay ninted that US. France and Turkey might now indicate to CA that such questions should not be discussed in relation to Israeli admission as they had nothing to do with it.
