THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
December 1, 1947.
Dear Dr. Weizmann:
I read your letter of November twenty-seventh
with a great deal of interest and, as the facts
developed, your fears were unfounded.
I don't think I ever had as much pressure and
propaganda unnecessarily aimed at The White
House as I have had in this instance and it didn't
please me a great deal but showed that evidently
the people for whom we had done the most had
no confidence in the integrity of The White House.
I am certainly sorry for this viewpoint.
Sincerely yours
Dr. Ch. Weizmann
