I can not tell you how much I apprec-
iate your kindness in wanting to
give me the Rand portrait of my
husband.
Our youngest son, John, has no portrait
of his father and is delighted at the
progpect of receiving this one, and I
am so grateful to you for making it
possible.
I read that you had flown out to see
your mother, and I do hope that you
are not having real anxiety about
her.
