1. Weather: Low ceilings of broken cumulous clouds with bases at
1,500-2,000 feet improving to broken clouds with bases at 3,000 feet and
scattered rain showers by 1000/08(KT).
2. Soviet participation: Negative.
3. Operations:
Enemy Situation
a. During the last twenty-four hours the enemy has been generally
inactive with enemy forces strengthening their positions in the Pyongtaek and
Ansong areas with additional personnel and equipment. (CINCFE) (SECRET)
b. At 0830/07 (KT) 20 to 30 tanks and 20 trucks well camouflaged
were moving south of Yangsong with troops. (CINCFE) (SECRET)
C. Osan has been occupied by enemy troops according to a report
of 1345/06(KT). (CINCFE)(SECRET)
a. A considerable number of trucks were reported parked north-
west of Pyongtaek off the highway leading from Pyongtaek to Osan. Enemy
forces also are reported to be building up in the area south-southwest of Wonju.

U.S. ARMY
e. According to press reports, fresh American troops and tanks
are moving up to strengthen front line positions.
f. A communique from General MacArthur reports American
ground force casualties as 249 to date. Approximately 200 of that number are
missing in action. (PRESS)
