Mr. B. Jacobson, President
Westport Laundry Company
3954 Central Street

Dear Mr. Jacobson:
In the absence of Senator Truman, who ia
in Missouri at the present time, I am enclosing
you a copy of a letter which has just been received
from the American Consul General at Stuttgart re-
garding the immigration case of Mr. Phillip Winde-
mueller and the members of his family, of Dortmund,
Germany. The letter is self-explanatory.
I hope that their interview with the
Consul General will be successful, and when we
have any further information we will be glad to
notify you.
Sincerely yours,
V. R. Messall, Secretary
Harry s. Truman, U. S. S.
