The American Consul
Rotterdam, Holland
Dear Sir:
Senator Truman has asked me to write you
regarding the applications of Mr. and Mrs. Bern-
hard Neugarten of Amsterdam for visas to come to the
United States.
Mr. and Mrs. Neugarten are the parents of
Mr. Berthold Neugarten of Sedalia, Missouri, who has
executed the necessary papers in connection with
their visa applications and has forwarded them to
your office for consideration.
Senator Truman will appreciate very much
anything that you may be able to do to assist these
applicants with their case.
Sincerely yours,
V. R. Messall, Secretary
Harry S. Truman, U. S. S.
