Honorable Raymond H. Geist
American Consul
Berlin, Germany
Dear Mr. Geist:
Mr. Cadi Klein of Joplin, Missouri, is
very anxious to bring his nephew and his godson
to this country from Germany, and has, I under-
stand, submitted the proper affidavits of support
in their behalf.
The nephew is Werner Anstan, Berlin N. 43,
Georgenkirchstrasse 5, and the onher young mon is
Alfred Taucher, Bresiau Irankfurtorstrasse 20,
Germany.
Mr. Klein is a business man of adequate
financial means to take care of these people if
they are admitted to the United States, and he is
recognized as one of the outstanding citizens of
Joplin.
I will appreciate any consideration you
can show these two applicants.
Sincerely yours,
TRUMAN
