Q. You are willing to answer any question to the best of your ability?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you know Theo Walls?
A. Yes.
Q, Are you working as foreman under the CWA?
A. Yes.
Q. Did you, on or about December 7, omit to turn in Walls name to the
time-keeper?
A. What do you mean?
Q. Did you fail to give his name to the t ime-keeper - so that he received
no pay?
A. No .
Q. Do you know how Mr. Walls received pay for the work that he did?
A. Yes, from this office.
Q, Did you know that there was some trouble in Mr. Walls not receiving
his pay?
Q. I'll ask that another way -- did Mr. Walls receive his pay the first
regular pay-day after he went to work?
A. I can't answer that. It is with the local office records.
