October 24, 1951 to MRS. TRUMAN: DE One of the press women called and asked the following questions. I realized that when I asked you what you would wear, I only asked for the dress for the Blair House dinner. That will you wear for the Canadian Embassy? I will send a nemorandum on to Reathel asking her to get Margaret's dresses for me, if possible for the Tuesday meeting. Questions: As full a description as possi- ble on table arrangements-such things as crystal, china, silver; whether place settings will be table mats or table cloth. Also would it be possible to have a piece of china, preferably a plate, and a kmife, fork and spoon to show them at the press meeting Tuesday? Flowers? lirs.
