MRS. TRUMAN:
DE
One of the press women called and asked the
following questions. I realized that when
I asked you what you would wear, I only
asked for the dress for the Blair House
dinner. That will you wear for the Canadian
Embassy? I will send a nemorandum on to
Reathel asking her to get Margaret's dresses
for me, if possible for the Tuesday meeting.
Questions: As full a description as possi-
ble on table arrangements-such
things as crystal, china, silver;
whether place settings will be
table mats or table cloth. Also
would it be possible to have a
piece of china, preferably a
plate, and a kmife, fork and
spoon to show them at the press
meeting Tuesday?
Flowers?
lirs. Truman's and Margaret's
dresses, particularly for the
two formal dirmers?
