Mrs. Harry S. Truman
The White House
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mrs. Truman:
Last year you favored Capitol Page School by allowing
the yearbook staff of "The Congressional" to feature you
as their godmother. Again this year, as you are still our
"First Lady", we would like to present a similar page to
the one used last year.
May we have a portrait and statement which we may use
in our "1949 Congressional"?
Thank you most sincerely.
Respectfully yours,
Alan m. Lewis
