Since the
meeting of the National Conference on
Family Life, Inc., will not take place
until next spring, I think she might

say that she cannot make any commitment
at this time and, therefore, no useful
purpose could be served by a meeting
in December with Mrs. Pennock.
If you will tell me
Mrs. Truman's decision, I will write
to Mrs. Pennock. Please return her
letter to me.
