My dear Miss Pepper:
Mrs. Truman read your letter
with sympathetic interest and she appre-
ciates fully how much you would like to
have the coat about which you write.
She is sorry that she has no fur coat
she could send to you nor does she know
of anyone who has such an article.
She regrets that she must dis-
appoint you and she hopes that you will
be able to find elsewhere the garment
for which you ask.
