(Frente Revolucionario Democratico Cubano) known\nas the Cuban Revolutionary Front. The organization was formed in\n1960 and is composed of other organizations such as Rescate, the\nIndependent Triple \"A\", the Christian Democratic Movement, Monte-\ncristi and the Democratic Union. These groups represent the\nprincipal political groups of Cuba.\nWHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE F.R.D.?\nThe purpose of the F.R.D. is to provide a common, united,\neffort on the part of Cubans to free their country from Communist\ncontrol. This means, also, the elimination of the Communist foot-\nhold in the Western Hemisphere.\nWHAT RECOGNITION DOES THE F.R.D. HAVE?\nThe F.R.D. is the only organization with which the U.S.\ngovernment has worked for the purpose of fighting Communism in Cuba.\nIn addition, the F.R.D. has been thoroughly checked by the\nBetter Business Bureau so that it may solicit funds and help.\nTHE DIRECTORS OF THE F.R.D. Organization of November 30)\nDr. Antonio Collada- (Frente Obrero Democratico de Cuba)\nDr. Ernesto Fernandez Travieso\nDr. Goar Mestre\nSr. Jose Bosch\nDr. Jose Miro Cardona\nCarlos Havia\nSr. Sergio Carbo\nHOW DOES THE F.R.D. PROFOSE TO FREE CUBA?\nThe F.R.D. believes that a fully informed people are the best\nweapon against Communism. Hence, our first effort is to spread\nnews, information, and propaganda about what the Communists are\ndoing in Cuba and the Latin-American countries. For this\npurpose the F.R.D. has delegates in all of the principal cities\nin the Western Hemisphere to impart information and to collect\nfunds. Further, the F.R.D. is continually sending groups repre-\nsenting the professions, labor, and students to help keep people\ninformed. This is an expensive endeavor."
