Chief of Police
Subject: Interview with Mr. Frits Kuler, of
XRLD-TV Station, and Viewing of
Video Tape (Osvald Shooting).
sir:
Mr. Kuler, an official of KRLD-TV Station, was contacted
by the Iavestigating Officers and stated that on Sunday
morming, November 24, 1963, he was in the Control Roem at
XRLD-TV Station, and was watching everything that vas
being monitored at that time. He stated that the Videe
taye vieved by the Investigating Officers was a contimous
tape. He also stated that the live portion started about
the time that the Caneranan came from in front of the Jail
office windows into the basceent ramp area just prior to
Lioutenant R. E. Svain and Captain J. W. Pritz coming out
of the Jall Office.
The Imvestigating Offioers timed the video tape from the
time Lioutenant R. 8. Pieree's oar left the basement and
started out Main Street until the time the shot vas fired.
The time recorded on the video machine and chooked twice
uga fifty-six (56) seconds.
