i: ancharce For : Lead filis Ruley Ando To: Jim Garrison February 3, 1968 From: Bill Turner Subject: Ruby Re CE 1448. This is an interview of Thomas Palmer of the AGVA in Dallase Palmer is a particularly candid man, and I recommend his remarks to your attention. For example, he said at 9 a.m. on the morning that Ruby shot Oswald, he received a request from a former Ruby employee, Jack Brown, to call Ruby in Dallas and advise him "not to send the letter today, it would be awkward in Chicago. " This may refer to Ruby's AGVA troubles, but the timing is exquisite. Brown, aka Alton Sharpe was a branch manager of AGVA in Chicago until Nov. 21, 1963. If I'm not mistaken, Irving Mazzai in Los Angeles also terminated on or about that date. Odd?
