GRANT\nJBP,GCT:mam\nadvined that ahe in the aister of JACK LEON RUDY.\n.\n2\nNra. GRANT advised that nhe has boon vory upset over the\nwhich have occurred in Toxan, beginning Friday,\n\"taking an ad like that? Are you moncy hungry?\" She said\novents the ansansipation of President KENNCDY.\nShe\nthat RUBY felt it was a rotten thing for any person to question\nNovember 22, 1963 with November 19, 1963, she and her\nthe way the President was running this country. Sho said that\nbrother saw picture in the a desk, Sho naid that\ninformed that on Tunsday morning, local Dallan paper concerning Prosident\nWEISMANN, whose namo appeared at the bottom of the ad, that\nRUBY made a statement regarding the advortisement and rogarding \"If\nKENNEDT and his young non at the Premident\nJACK RUBY called the picturo to\nher attention and in very glowing\nthat guy is Jcw they ought to whack the holl out of him.' Dy,\nterms wan very enthusiastic nbout the Prosident. lie told her, for\nthat, she advised sinco RUDY is a Jew he folt that this reflected\nexample, that \"That man doosn't act like President. He acts just\nagainat the Jewiuh race.\nlike normal ovoryday man with family She stated that on\nNovember 22, 1963, a Friday morning, her telophone rang at hor\nShe advised that RUDY told her that he went to the\napartmont, and it was hor brothor, JACK RUBY, calling. RUDY a kod\nl'ost office in downtown Dallan and looked at the box, which box\nhor if she sav the advertimenent in the morning papor whi wan a\nnumber appears in the advortisement. He told her that the box\nfull-pace arl addressed to \"Mr. Konnody\" by BERNARD WEISMANN. She\nwas full of mail. According to Nrs. GRANT, aftor ho told hor\nsaid that JACK RUDY wan very upsot about thin article and,\nthis, he made the\nstatement \"I bet Weismann is a Communist\",\nundoubtedly it bothered him groat doal, not only on that day but\nor words to that offect,\nfor the noxt two or three days. ile callod WEISMANN an \"SOD\" and\nMrs. GRANT advised that she persona 1ly \"had a crush\nalno said that the nowspapor wan complotoly wrong in accepting\nthe\nPresident Kennedy\" She stated that she and her brothor\nad. She advined that he told her ho had called the \"Timon Horald\"\nnewspapor in Dallas, and thoy had advised him that they had turned\nboth\non had great admirat ion for Prosident KENNEDY and felt ho\nwonderful l'resident. GRANT stated that he wan most upact that the ad was\nplaced advortiments in both Dallas papers concorning the\naddronsed to Mr. KENNFOY and thought it should hava boen addreased\nentertainment to bo offored at the Corouse) and Vogas Night\nto the Ronorable President if it had to be in the paper She\nClubs, Dallas, Texas which clubs he has an intorost in.\nShe\nstated that he CAMO to hor apartment that day and had the ad from\nadvised that aftor Presidont KINNCOY was assassinated on\nhis own papor and took the ad from her papor. She naid she\nNovember 22, 1963, ho called the novspapors to change the\nunderstood both copios of this ad woro found in RUBY's automobile\nadvert isomenta to show that the clubs would be closed Friday,\nSaturday, and Sunday, Novembor 22, 23, and 24, 1963. Sho\nsaid\nafter his arrest by the Dallas Polico officers. She stated that\nJACK RUBY told hor that ho had contacted the papor which ran the\nthat DON SAFFERN (Mi), reporter for the Dallas\nadvertizement and ankod them \"Whoro in the holl do you get off\n\"Times lierald\", called him and wanted to know if he was sure\n- Commincion Exhilt No. 1872\n-\n-\n11/15/43 palian.
