D. 189\nappeared in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, before the Clerk thergof\nGeorge Smith an alien, Acorland and reports himself for Waturalization,\nand\nbeing\nduly sworde, on oath declares that he is a native of\naged 31,\nyears, and owns allegiance to Queen Victoria\nthat he emigrated thence, embarked Glasgow\nat\nand arrived\nat newyork in the United States, on the 26 day of april\n1886, and that it is Bona Fide his intention to reside in and become a Citizen of the\nUnited States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate or Sovereignty\nwhatever, and particularly to Queen Vistored\nGronge Smith\nSubscribed and Sworn to before me, this\n15\nday\nof afric 1890\nIn Testimony Uhereof, I,\nClerk of said Superior Court, hereunto set my hand and\nSEAL\nOfficial Seal, this\n15-\nday\nof Apric 1890\nBy CHAS.
