bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN'OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renownce
and abjure forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Power, Prince, Potentate, State, o
Sovereignty whatever, and particularly, allegience to the King of Italy
of whom he was heretofore a subject.
