Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Day started with a problem- he thoughta tape
from his have dictating machine was blank- - but it
turned out to be all right.
Back to the Bless matter at staff meeting -
P. mad at his attitude - decided only way to deal
with him is to set deadline re Ambasadn for this week
and if he refuses it - to have-force chotine on
him - and deal with R. morton on all politics
Concern re oil quota t maine free port. Wants to
get it out of Heckets hands and back to W.H. meets
with Stans & Kennedy this afternoon (Stans brought
Heckel-which loused up the situation)
