Robert Kleiman
April 4, 1969 6:00
Kleiman had written an article which is to appear in Monday's
Times and wanted HAK to hear it in case he had any drastic
objections. In the last few days, Kleiman has had other infor-
mation on the State Dept's view on SALT talks and because of
the recent discussions on Safeguard -- this is the reason for
the article. He then read the article.
HAK thought it was a responsible article but didn't want to
comment on it. Kleiman said he unde stood but just wanted
to make sure he didn't have any strong objections. The only
thing HAK wanted him to change was -- settlement in Central
Europe to settlement in Berlin.
