Telecon Ambassador Dobrynin 1/13/70 7:55 p.m. D: Welcome back. K: Where was I? D: According to some information I had from [?] you were somewhere not far from the wonderful country, Mexico. K: I just want to know whether you have your own spies fol- lowing me or if youheard that from my office. D: We have a satellite in the sky which follows you. K: Between your satellite and your wire taps in my office you don't miss anything. D: It's a wonderful indication when Henry is out of town. I know everything is will right. K: I visited our former President--just for the day. D: You see, my information was pretty good. The reply re - quested about cosmonauts, my government has just sent a full answer. They asked me to tell you, their answer is: The time period of the planned voyage abroad of the American astronauts during which they would like to visit the Soviet Union is at the moment unconvenient because of a number of circumstances. But we are prepared to [couldn't understand]. This is the answer they asked me to convey to you and to the President. K: Okay. It will never have had a fromal status as far as we are concerned. D: On the second part, they asked me to say we are prepared to return to this question later. Two whole answers: first and second. K: We won't mention anything to the press about the first part and the second when you are ready. D: This only for your own information. K: No, as far as we are concerned, the issue wasn't reised. And we will ask accordingly. D: Good. As the for the question, we will discuss it with you later.
