R: My understanding was that the two C-141's had already been put on. To
expedite we thought we could put on more
L: If you use C-141, everyone knows its the USAF
R: I thought it was a previous announcement that we would make these
available.
L:: There was an early announcement that planes were on the alert but
not C-141's
R: As far as I am concerned whatever you want to use
L: Tell us the quantity and its on its way
R: Quantity -- the people you have on our working group have the details
L: Re the WH announcement it would be best to say we are using planes
the WH put on alert
R: I think there is good communication with your people
L: They wanted us to deny that no defense equipment is being used.
R: As far as markings go, it's a problem on the ground foux from the
point of view of the Federal Military Government. I did not actually call.
I would not use quite that tone. Someone was using my name. We are concerned
about sensitivities of the FMG about not using military planes XX if we can
avoid it. As to types, we will use your judgement.
L: We are ready to fly
R: Great
