K: About that speech in NY. The President has it in his head that it might
make a difference to do it on Monday.
F: I have talked to him at some length and he is going for Wed. We did it on
the terms that Lasker preferred it. Don't change it now!
K: Is that true?
F: It's true enough. I can't see it makes any difference. After Wed. it would
be frantic.
K: Are you going to be there?
F: No, just the big cheese.
K: I hope it's worthwhile.
F: It will be.
