S: I would like you to report to the President that I spoke to K. Graham and
Patterson. I said I made a check and I could find no individual at a responsible
level that has said anything about this on either count -- I said I had been in the
newspaper game. I asked them to make an investigation and not tell me who it was
but I would take their word if (they said there was some one of responsibility).
Graham said I am going to an editorial meeting and would call me back, There's
another problem. Based on questions from Evans of various people on Palestine
area, he is on the
article. He wants to show a division between State
and the WH. I want you and the Pres. to be aware of this. Secondly, if you
agree I will see what I can do. I want to see what I can do. Let me call him and
I will give you a fill in on it,
