I don't tell my people who they should bring in. I don't give a
specific order everytime something comes in. It is SOP, maybe
it is my fault.
S:
You shouldn't have to give a directive every time something comes
along but a process where some things are SOP.
K:
I look at you as an ally, would be cutting off my nose -- No, really
the problem to get under control is Laird. DPRC has enabled you
to do things on the military side that you couldn t have done on the
outside.
S:
I will give you a couple of proposals.
K:
Give me a couple of proposals on that and give me your preferred
proposal.
S:
I am concerned about Vietnam economy.
K:
Are you depressed?
S:
We have a couple of ideas, I will buzz you on Thursday or Friday.
K:
Yes and let me see the case history on the military aid.
