TelCon Mr. Wasserman/Mr. Kissinger 9:30 pm, Jan. 2, 1973 K: Hello. W: Hello, Henry. K: How are you. W: Oh, I'm feeling better, thank you. Sorry I didn't get to see you but I've been in bed with this terrible flu that's running around California. K: Oh, I didn't realize that. W: I never got down to Palm Springs at all. K: I'm sorry to hear that. Are you feeling better? W: Yeah, I think I'll go to work tomorrow for a couple of hours to see if I can get caught up. I imagine you are pretty busy and then you're away some place. K: Well, I'm back in Washington now and I going off to Paris on Sunday. So - W: Well, I'll have to wait and see you when you get back. K: Well why don't we have a talk when I come to the West Coast. W: Right. K: I mean I can't do anything until we get this mess wound up anyway. W: Right. K: Good, well I look forward to having a change to talk to you. W: Right Henry. I'm terribly sorry I got the flu. I would have much rater been in Palm Springs than in bed with a germ. K: I can well imagine. W: And have a safe and successful journey. K: Thank you. W: And a healthy New Year. K: Thank you and the same to you. Bye.
