-2- Graham/Kissinger 4/24 K: Very much. G: Because you know we didn't have one of those K: Good. I have been pulling Nancy's leg saying it was a very Episcopalian interview and what other girl G: No, it really wasn't. I'll tell you one thing , you know she saying K: Could I bring off/what the great frustrations in my life is that I couldn't join the polo team? G: She didn't say it was a frustration. K: But think about that for three minutes. G: But she did not say it was a frustration. She said the line was drawn when she wanted to learn polo. K: I know. I am just pulling her leg. I thought it, you were marvelous and really but I thought G: But you know she was SO , she was so tremendously intelligent that she did that thing that a lot of people who havent done a lot of interview almost never do which is to be very open but verywise. K: And she was terrified. You know she hadn't required that she look at what you were going to quote. So she was really worried what how this story would come out. And very pleased with the way it did come out. She said she was going to call you. XG: Yes, she called last night and Henry, I was rather pleased because I just had to go up to the publishers meeting for one day and I couldn't leave for any longer, but three, in fact that guy that was sitting here Saturday. You know we were all exhausted and tired by this time and I want to tell you a guy called from the Newark Star Ledger, Mr. Benjamin C. Bradley is just walking in, and this guy said, I can tell Henry. He said it is the best news K: Is Bradley listening in? G: No he is just starting too
