I just wanted to make sure you weren't making me initial the return of Alaska.
D: That's right.
K: You've been mentioning it so much lately I am worried. You
are in favor of the principle of equality in negotiations: Alaska for one
ABM site.
D: If it is big enough. Give me a call next week when you are ready
to discuss the next thing.
K: And then maybe we can exchange the letters too.
D: No problem
and one more question. Our delegate is coming
to Washington to talk to Mr. Peterson. He asked me to be there. Is it
okay if I drop in?
K: No problem. Peterson is only in a position to listen however -- I
hope you understand that.
D: I understand and I will listen too. I will not speak; it is not my business.
K: That's no problem; in fact, we'll be delighted.
