Friday, April 04, 2008 Page 1 of 1 THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON September 15, 1972 MEMORANDUM FOR THE PRESIDENT FROM: JOHN DEAN X SUBJECT: Affidavits Required by State Election Law Forwarded for your signature are an Affidavit of Consent required by the Board of Elections, District of Columbia (Tab A) and a Notice of Candidacy and Affidavit required to be filed pu-rsuant to the Georgia Election Code (Tab B). These affidavits should be signed on September 18. Recommendation That you sign the affidavits attached at Tabs A and B. THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON September 19, 1972 Dear Mr. Pendleton: Pursuant to the instructions in your letter to Harry Flemming, I enclose herewith two Affidavits of Consent signed by the President and Vice President in accordance with the District of Columbia election law.
