Affidavits Required by State Election Law
Forwarded for your signature are an Affidavit of Consent required by
the Board of Elections, District of Columbia (Tab A) and a Notice of
Candidacy and Affidavit required to be filed pu-rsuant to the Georgia
Election Code (Tab B). These affidavits should be signed on
September 18.
Recommendation
That you sign the affidavits attached at Tabs A and B.

Dear Mr. Pendleton:
Pursuant to the instructions in your letter to Harry Flemming,
I enclose herewith two Affidavits of Consent signed by the President
and Vice President in accordance with the District of Columbia
election law. These affidavits must be filed with the D. C. Board
of Elections no later than October 1, 1972. We would appreciate
your handling this filing.
