Mike Farrell was in my office yesterday afternoon suggesting that the President own a Savings Bond. Appartently within the next few weeks a Savings Bond Month will be declared and there will be a govern- ment-wide effort to have employees invest their savings in these bonds. Mike is concerned that the President does not own such a bond and that he will be asked about it and have to say that he does not participate. He claims to have recommended that the President buy a bond about a month or six weeks ago and never had a response. Would you track this down and recommend to me what we should do next.
