WALNUT CLUSTERS
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup soft butter
1 1/2 squares melted chocolate
2 cups nut meats
Sift the first three ingredients. Mix butter and sugar until creamy.
Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Mix in chocolate, then flour mixture.
Fold in nuts. Drop by teaspoonsful one inch apart on greased cookie
sheet. Bake 10 minutes in 350° oven. Yield, 2 1/2 dozen.
