FII/Fike TAMPA BAY ENGINEERING COMPANY 1355 SNELL ISLE BLVD. - P. O. Box 7236 ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA 33734 OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT November 10 1970 NM The President The White House Washington, D. C. kiet Land his My dear Mr. President: Thank you for your letter of 5 November, 1970. It is deeply appreciated and I will treasure it. It was a very rewarding experience to have the opportunity to work with your advance staff, particularly, Messrs. Stu White, Ron Walker, Leonard Stephens and James Gibbons. These gentlemen, in addition to being real pros, I can assure you are dedicated, Mr. President, and I wonder when they sleep for I know they called me at 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. in the morning. Your advance planning is in good hands! I think it was wonderful for you to take the time out of your busy schedule and assist the Party in Florida, and I only regret that we, in the State, did not reelect Claude Kirk as Governor, and Bill Cramer to the Senate. Our primary fight and inter-party - disagreements were unfortunate and I assure you, sir, as Chairman for the Governor that I did everything possible to try and heal that breach. I trust a lesson was learned by all concerned. You have my support now as in the past, Mr. President, and I assure you of my continuing efforts to be of assistance to you in every way possible. You are doing a great job and carrying a tremendous load. It must be gratifying to you to know that the American people are with you all the way and praying constantly for your success and good health. Thank you, again, sir. Very respectfully yours, Bill Ohall W. . F. . 0' NEILL President WFO/mf
