WALT DISNEY COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL CEREMONY THE WHITE HOUSE TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 1969 THE PRESIDENT: At 10:55 a. m. you will be escorted from your office to the Family Quarters of the Residence where you will be joined by the First Lady. You and Mrs. Nixon will then be escorted to the Red Room where you will meet with the following members of the Disney Family: Mrs. Walt Disney Mr. and Mrs. Roy O. Disney Mrs. Diane Disney Miller, her husband and six children Mrs. Sharon Disney Brown Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Disney and their four children Mr. Jim Stewart Also in attendance will be Senator George L. Murphy and Congressmen Del Clawson, Bob Wilson, Richard Hanna and Bob Mathias, who sponsored the Joint Resolution in the House and Senate which authorized the gold medal which honors the late Walt Disney. At approximately 11:03 a.m. everyone with the exception of yourself and Mrs. Nixon and Mrs. Disney will be escorted into the State Dining Room where a single stand-up microphone will be pro- vided for your use. There will be chairs to your right for the First Lady and Mrs. Disney.
