Unanimous view of tax experts reported by NY News is that
fallout from RN's bill could well mean heftier taxes for America's
200, 000 millionaires as there's tax revolt brewing akin to '69,
but this time aimed at eliminating shelters.
Quick agreement to pay "was plainly one of soundest
political decisions WH has made to date on RN's finances, " says
Sun's Clymer. And "another gutsy decision followed quickly "w/
RN plans to go to Mich. Despite negating the fallout by paying,
Clymer feels RN will be hurt by the "vast list of improprieties"
separate from VP papers and capital gains issues.
