Dear Ken:
Thanks very much for your letter and your
input regarding the "Labor" job. You know,
of course by now, that Bill Brock was the
choice, but Ed was a close runner-up.
I share your high opinion of him and certainly
mean to keep him in our Administration if we
can. I think of all the things in this job I
don't like, it is having to make choices like
this between people I like and believe in.
