Dear President Reagan,
In 1978 we were talking in the then Gringo Camp
on Rancheros. I said to you, "Having supported
you in three campaigns, it makes me sick that you
are not President." You replied, "Maybe next
time!" and I told you you would certainly have
my support. So you will understand me when I say
that I go along with Jimmy Stewart in saying,
"You can't know how much pleasure it gives me to
address you as above."
The one bad thing about your being in office is
that we are denied the priviledge of your "fouling
up our Ranchero rodeo" according to Frank Bogart.
One priviledge we gladly but ruefully give up.
So until we can see you again, God bless you and
your charming wife, Nancy.
