Thatcher Letter to Gorbachev
Attached is the official copy of the text of a letter sent from
Mrs. Thatcher to General Secretary Gorbachev. I don't think that
it breaks any new ground with the Soviets and it certainly is
supportive of our position.
Since the President's initials are already on the first page, I
assume that he has already seen this correspondence, therefore no
memorandum for the President is provided.
