January 31st, I visited the Waterbury Clock Company.
Saw Mr. Hall who referred me to Mr. Putnum the engineer who is
in charge of experimentations. I went into the matter of
designing luminous dials with Mr. Putnum very thoroughly and
he has consented to make up several styles of alarm clock
dials. They still start with two designs of alarm clocks
and later work into their more expensive clocks.
They are very enthusiastic about luminous material
and it is my opinion that they are considering putting out a
luminous dial just as soon as it is possible.
Mr. Hall then made an appointment for me with the
Waterbury Mfg. Company - their Mr. Recker.
P. M. Willis.
