Arrow Electric Company.
Hartford, Conn.
Feb. lst.
Saw their General Purchasing Agent Mr. Roy D.
Heymann.
Mr. Heymann informed me that he had several times
interviewed Mr. Kelly of the Radium Chemical Company, but that
they had never reached a satisfactory termination of their ex-
pe riments.
He informed me that Mr. Kelly gave him the impres-
sion that they desired to sell the powder and had no definite
idea how it might be applied satisfactorily to electire fixtures.
Mr. Heymann.however is very enthusiastic over the luminous line
and gave me samples of push-buttons and pendents for pull chain
sockets.
He wants us to experiment with a small dise which may
be molded in the rubber push button.
Mr. He ymann informed me that they supply about one-
half the pull chains sold in the United States, although their
push button line is comparitively insignificant. This is a very
good concern.
They have a tremendous factory and are evidently
interested particularly in specialties. Mr. Heymann informed
me that there would probably be other applications in their line
if it is possible for us to perfect push buttons and pull chains.
P. M. Willis.
