The following list of push-button< and electric
appliance manufacturers was copied from a book in the office
of the Hart Mfg. Company. Possibly we are in communication
with all of these people now, but there may be some new names.
Frank Adams Electric Co.,
St. Louis, Mo.
Mfg. of Switch boards.
Norton Electric Instrument Co.,
,
Manchester, Conn.
Mfg. Ammeters and other electrical instruments.
Patrick & Wilkons,
51 N. 7th St.
Philadelphia, Pa.
Mfg. of añnunciators and other electrical
indicating devices.
These people supply the United States Navy with
annunciators for use on battle ships. This was one of the
apparatus suggested for illumination by Mr. Castle of the Steam
Engineering Department of the United States Navy.
Minerallic Electric Company,
1043 Washington Blvd.,
Chicago, Ill.
Mfg. of Altman table push buttons and electric
watchman's signals.
I noticed all the New England trolleys are equipped
with Westinghouse air gauges which are manufactured by the
Standard Gauge Mfg. Company, Syracuse, N. Y.
The application
of Radium Luminous Material to these dials would be very practical
according to may conversation with several motormen, as it is nee-
essary for them to keep their eyes constantly on these indicators.
Some of the cars have them set on top of the control
handle directly beside the motorman's hand.
