In answer to your letter dated June 18th regarding Mrs.
Kuser's case, I am very sorry that I have been misunderstood.
I
was not discussing the question of responsibility. I was only
appealing to the humane sense of the officers of your corporation
to find out what you would do to help this poor creature.
I must admit that I am surprised that you failed to see
the humane side of the question.
