Page Journel of the American Medical Association, since you undoubtedly will witness, if such publication is not made at once, a far more damaging pronouncement from Dr. Hoffman. I trust you will read the material I am gending you with the greatest care, and that you will give me your opinion on the matter as soon as possible. I think that your strongest position is one which mast convince the public that you have done everything humanly possible to get to the bottom of the trouble in your plant, and it is clearly impossible, in veiw of what will soon appear, for you to attain such a position without preventing the evidence of what you have really attempted to do. I trust this is clear, and hope to hear from you in the near future. Very truly yours, (signed) Cecil K. Drinker, M.D. CKD/C
