Mr. Josiah Stryker,
c/o Lindabury, Depue & Faulls,
Prudential Doilding,
763 Broad St.,
Newark,
N.J.
Dear lir. Stryker:
I received this norning two letters from you,
one of April 6 and One of April 7. x am glad that you have made a
matter of record of our position with the Insurance Company. However,
as explained to you last evening, the prime question is that of
winning the case.
During the next tuo or three days, I will lay
out a program along the lines that we discussed. It will probably
not be commlete as I sm not voll accusinted with legal metters.
Dr. ni, I understand, is out of tom, but I will
communicate with him as soon as possible. As soon as a time has been
set for a medical examination I believe that we can arrange very readily
to have Dr. Thompson present and strongly urge this procedure.
I understand that Miss Conninghan, who until
recently worked in our Plant, just had some teeth pulled. We have been
told that the dentistis name is Betts in Newark, There is a
Dr. Rdwin Betts listed at 47 Orange Street and. another dentist named
Betta on Harrison Avenue, Mest Orange, but I thinle Dr. Bdwin is
probably the man.
In a letter just received from Dr. Hoffman
confirming his arrangement to visit our Plant Friday, he mentions ten
or twelve cases of which he has records and which are either incipient
or advanced, ne hove only heard of five, but I assume that we will
have to defend ourselves ageinst every one vho ever worked for U.S who
has a toothache from now on.
Yours truly,
President.
