Dr. Trederick B. Flinn,
c/o College of Physicions and Surgoons,
437 West 59th St.
New York City.
Dear Dr. Flim:
I have just returned from a visit to the
Ansonia Clock Company at Seventh Avemue and Twelfth Street,
Brooklyn.
I have explained to lir. King, the superintendent, and
Nr. Cook, his assistant, your suggestion to me of last Triday that
you would like to exemine operators in luminous application
departments other than our Plant in Orange.
Both of the above gentlemen expressed complete
willingness to co-oparate, and I thinle that if you will phone them a
little in advance of when you or one of your assistants plans to
visit the Factory, a specific arrangement can rendily be made.
King mentioned that the State Board of
Health officer had been at thoir Plant twice lately inquiring about
the application worle
He, therefore, wolcomes an opoortunity
to have an examination made.
I hope to very promptly arronge for inspection
visits in other factories, preferably those conveniently located.
The best way to reach the Ansonia Pactory in
Brooklim is to take the B. R. T. Subway to Seventh Avenue. You will
find a taxi cab station at that station which is the best wey to moke
the rest of the journey - about a mile and a half.
Yours truly,
President.
